Carl Anthony Beifus Sr.

Carl Anthony Beifus Sr, 83 of Cumberland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024, at the Astoria Place of Cambridge Nursing Facility.

He was born on January 29, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Felix Beifus and Agnes Verba. Carl was a member of the EAA #928 in Cambridge for many years. He was a machinist, working as a Tool and Die maker for most of his life. Carl was a pilot, eventually building his own airplane. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Carl achieved his goal of visiting Alaska, taking an unforgettable trip. Above all, he loved spending his time with his family and loved ones.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jean (Hansen) Beifus; children: Donn (Lisa) Beifus, Lori (Danny) Djukic, Carl (Misty) Beifus Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, William (Cathy) Beifus.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Beifus.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held.
