Allen Lee Abby

Allen Lee Abby, 72, of Cambridge, passed away on April 13, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  He was born February 5, 1953, in New Castle, Wyoming to the late Allen and Mary (Harper) Abby.  He was a graduate of Cambridge High School. Allen retired from the Keenan-Advantage Group in 2019 after 27 years of service.

Allen is survived by his wife, Kathy (Wainwright) Abby; a sister, Cindy (Abby) Kerns, brother-In-Law; Larry (Carla) Wainwright; brother-in-law & sister-in-law Larry and Sue (Wainwright) Burnett, as well as several very special nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his grandparents, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Dale and Jo Ann (Howard) Wainwright.

Kathy and the family express their appreciation to Genesis Hospice for the wonderful care shown to Allen and the family.

Calling hours will be held at the New Concord Church of Christ located at 13333 Maple Lane, New Concord, Ohio 43762 on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 10AM – 12PM with funeral services starting at 12PM.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may contribute in his memory to the New Concord Church of Christ located at 13333 Maple Lane, New Concord, Ohio 43762, the Guernsey County Cancer Society located at 139 North 7th Street, Cambridge, Ohio 43725 or to Genesis Hospice Care (Morrison House) located at 713 Forest Ave, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.  Services will be conducted by evangelist Terry Townsend.
